Octopus Fluids Resin Inks are fast-drying alcohol-based colour concentrates that have been specially developed for colouring epoxy resin, UV resin, acrylic resin, polyester resin and other casting resin systems.   They are extremely productive and give the resin an intensive colouring.   This makes the colours excellent for making cast resin jewellery, resin coasters and the popular petri dish art.   All colours can be easily combined with each other and also with our Alcohol Inks.

The Octopus Fluids Alcohol Ink is a transparent and fast-drying colour with an alcohol base developed especially for fluid painting techniques. It can be used on almost all smooth, non-porous materials. It is best suited to specially coated papers, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, and stone – the applications of Octopus Fluids Alcohol Inks are almost endless. After drying, the acid-free Alcohol Inks are smudge- and waterproof, but can be re-liquefied or removed at any time using isopropyl alcohol. The special feature of our Octopus writing inks is their very good writing behaviour even after the fountain pen has not been used for a long time.  They were developed so that they do not dry out in the writing instrument and flow through the nib with the first stroke.  On paper, on the other hand, they dry so quickly that they can hardly be smudged. Their strokes are pleasantly soft. In addition, these writing inks have very little fraying on the paper and very pleasant shading at the end of the stroke. The use of pigmented, waterproof inks in fountain pens requires diligent care of these sensitive writing instruments.   When using dye-based inks, fountain pens can be cleaned with relatively little effort even after very long periods of use. When using pigmented inks, however, you should take care not to allow any residue to dry in the fountain pen, as this can usually only be removed by mechanical cleaning with the aid of aggressive cleaning agents.   To prevent this, we recommend that you always clean your fountain pens thoroughly after use. To achieve a better cleaning effect than with clear water, we have developed the Write & Draw Cleaner.   This special fountain pen cleaner dissolves the colour pigments as well as the binder contained in the Write & Draw inks and thus ensures residue-free cleaning of your writing instruments.   It is suitable for fountain pens, calligraphy nibs, brushes and glass nibs.
